Seem like I can't get a break. I been on unemployment now for almost 2 yrs. I am trying to get assistance for my gas which is past due. I went to family services in my area for help, and they told me I wasn't eligible for assistance from the state because I don't pay more than 3% of my income for utilities. I called my gas company explaining to them that I can't recieve assistance, but I am willing to pay what I can to reduce the bill ( which is around $500.00 ) I told them I could send them $150.00 bi-weekly until the past due is reduced to where I can pay. They want more than half or else they will disconnect service. My bank account is overdrawn because of charges that were made in order to buy food, gas, etc. I have no overdraft protection from my bank and I have to pay high fees ($36 ) plus $7 daily until account is paid in full. My cable service is charging me for upgrades that were made by the cable company plus I am a month past due on the bill. This is also not including what I owe for electric, water, and sewage. My unemployment can only pay for so much plus I have to eat.

Have you tried to directing them to a food shelter in your area? or you could find one and get emergency supplies of food for your friends. There is no cost for this they just need some form of identification and proof of adress. Some shelters or food banks can even deliver the food either to your house or theirs. Churches are also excellent for this type of service they also have food shelters or banks in order to help the needy. And I would also recomment that they can seek help for some type of welfare program in your area. Check your city or town public help offices. With welfare support they can also recieve food stamps. Don't bother with those Govt. grants(like the ones on this page) I been scammed by some of these sites. Note:Any site or company that asks for your card infomation,DO NOT GIVE OUT! Because that's how they get your account info. and steal money or charge you outrageous fee! You're in a real emergency, try talking to your morgage company to see if they could lower you morgage a little. or try contacting your church or city hall for help. God Bless, I hope you make it.

Did you try to contact your utility company? You can't go without heat. They should have LIHEAP or some simular program where you can pay a little at a time. I don't know where you're from, but if you live in a area where people are right now are experiencing a lot of cold and snow. It is lifethreatning. Alo your church or city hall may have some info on how to keep our heat on.

Oh dear, I wish that I could help people like you in your sitation:( But I am in so much trouble myself. The only advice that I could give is: Try to contact you utility company and see if you're able for LIHEAP or some other program in your state. You should be able to recieve that if you explain to them that you have children and one is handicap and you need heat for survival for yourself and children. Your local church could also help, they could get you toys for your children and any other assistance you could recieve. It's people in situations like yours that make me so angry because the whole country is suffering while our govt. gives out billions to rescue Wall Street, Auto executives, etc. People like you need a bailout and RIGHT NOW! Especialily at this time of year. We need Obama to do something now before it's too late! I wish that I could do more, but that's all I can give you. I hope it's helps a little. I recently recieved a message from a scammer who is trying to get me to claim that i have a million dollars from Guyana that some one left me a check and that they need info. These are probably these same spammers who has been harrasing me on my home email page. This one was bold enough to send a email to me at Aidpage along with her picture. I deleted her and removed myself from the page. I'm supposed to be protected here. I do not give out my personal info to anyone..Not even to those who need assistance at Aidpage. Is there something that I can do to stay on this page or site so that i can continue to help others and recieve help. Thanks.

Hi, I need help trying to find a Govt. loan program that could help me. I am a owner of a two bed. condo. with a lot of unpaid bills. Some of these bills are on payment plans that I am trying to pay. I have a judgement against me from my condo assoc. for unpaid fees, and I'm trying to work out a payment plan that I can afford. This bill is over $2,000 and in addition to my other bills and morgage it is almost impossible for me to pay. I am currently working part-time and trying to find full-time work. I don't want to go online to those other sites where they promise you they can get you out of debt for a small fee. I tried that once and never recieved any info. and never got my money back. If someone out there knows any information on where I can get info. Please Help Me.
